Michel Fadel

Michel Fadel

Renowned for his extraordinary talent, Michel Fadel has made an indisputable name for himself in the music world as a pianist, composer and producer.

His compelling music draws inspiration from an eclectic range of world sounds and rhythms, including the exotic, haunting melodies of his native Lebanon.

Michel's original music is uplifting, moving and intrinsically exciting, with a richness of melody and instrumentation that leaves no listener indifferent.

Born into a family of artists, at the age of eight Michel won first prize in a youth competition at the University of St. Esprit at Kaslik. From there, his hobby began to take a whole new form. He obtained his Masters Degree in classical piano at the Higher National Conservatory of Beirut – graduating with excellence.

Next, Michel's passion for music led him to study composition in France at the famed Bologna Conservatory, after which he went on to play piano for big names like Fairuz, Majida El Roumy and Julia Boutros.

In 2000, Michel went to Hollywood and participated in the World Championship of Performing Arts as an instrumental composer. Here he won first prize under his category, Grand Champion Instrumentalist of the Year 2000.

With such an impressive career, it's not surprising that Michel has been asked to play live to many stars and VIPs. Such as his performance for the launch of Bokra at the Palm in Dubai, where Michel and his band played in the presence of Quincy Jones, the famous entrepreneur Badr Ben Jaafar and many important artists, actors and public figures from the Arab world.

On stage, Michel has also accompanied the Philharmonic Orchestra of Prague and recently he composed the official anthem for the Arab Olympic Games in Qatar, as well as performing his piece live at the opening ceremony.

This year Michel brings to you the release of his long awaited new album, entitled "Aal Lebnene".
